Explanation
A poem of 14 lines is called a sonnet . It is a short lyric poem typically written in iambic pentameter. There are 4 primary types of sonnets: Petrarchan, Shakespearean, Spenserian and Miltonic. A sonnet usually consists of two parts : an eight-line section (the octet) followed by a six-line section (a sestet).
