The second conflict between Pakistan and India over the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir was in 1965. · Pakistan's Operation Gibraltar is the main reason for the 1965 war. · Ayub Khan was the President of Pakistan during the Indo Pak war 1965. · Lal Bahadur Shastra was the prime minister of India during the Indo Pak war 1965. 3. The third conflict between Pakistan and India was in 1971. · Yahya Khan was the President of Pakistan during the Indo Pak war 1971. · Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India during the Indo-Pak war in 1971. 4. There is also a limited war in 1999 at Kargil between India and Pakistan.
