Explanation
Jannat al-Baqīʿ , located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is the oldest and first Islamic cemetery. It situated southeast of the Prophet's Mosque. It contains the graves of some of Prophet Muhammad's family and friends. The first companion buried there was Uthman Ibn Madhoon . Hazrat Khadija (RA) is the only Ummul Momineen not buried in Jannat al-Baqīʿ.
