KANUPP stands for Karachi Nuclear Power Plant it is a large commercial nuclear power plant located at Paradise Point in Karachi Sindh it is Pakistan's first nuclear energy plant it is composed of three commercial nuclear power plants K1: 1 August 1966 ( support from Canada ) K2: 20 August 2015 ( investment provided by China and IAEA ) K3: 31 May 2016 ( investment provided by China and IAEA )
