First Information Report (FIR) is a written document prepared by the police In column 1, the d ate and time of the incident are mentioned. In column 2, the name and address of the complainant Column 3 contains a brief description of the crime Column 4 mentions the place of occurrence and the direction from the police station. If there is any delay in filing the F.I.R., the reason for it is mentioned in column 5. The date and time o f departure from the police station are mentioned in column 6.
