Prophet Muhammad PBUH have at the age of 40 . He and his wife had six children — two boy s (who did not live into adulthood) and four girls . By the time he was 40 , he began having religious visions that would change his life. This is Prophet Muhammad's mosque in Medina. At the age of  40 in 11 BH (610 CE) , Muhammad is said to have received his first verbal revelation in the cave called Hira , which was the beginning of the descent of the Quran that continued up to the end of his life.
