It is Pakistan’s largest and oldest salt mine and the world’s second-largest mine. The Khewra Salt Mine ( or Mayo Salt Mine ) is in Khewra , north of Pind Dadan Khan, an administrative subdivision of Jhelum District, Punjab Region, Pakistan.
