Explanation
The battles led by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are called Ghazwas . Muslims fought a total of 27 Ghazwas , with the first being Al-Abwā. There are eight major battles in Islam: Badr (fought three times) Uhud Bani Mustalaq Khandaq Bani Quraizhah Khayber Fathu Makkah Hunain and Taif A battle in which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) did not participate is known as Sariyya .
