The United States Congress is the Parliament of the United States . It is the bicameral legislature of the federal government of the United States consisting of two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives. On 3 August 2022 , the Senate , the upper house of the US parliament, approved the inclusion of Sweden and Finland in NATO.
