Pakistan’s first television host, anchor and artist Kanwal Naseer passed away on 25-03-2021 . She was 70. She was the one who spoke to viewers along with Tariq Aziz during the first ever transmission of PTV in 1964, saying Yeah Pakistan Television Hai (This is Pakistan Television). She was one of two anchors who were part of PTV's first ever transmission in 1964.
